Ask Rose

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology offers free math and science tutoring service for Indiana and other students in grades 6-12.

Britannica School

Britannica School is an online encyclopedia with articles written at elementary, middle, and high levels. It includes a read aloud feature and multimedia photos, maps, and movie clips.

Classroom Clipart

Classroom Clipart is a free source of clipart for teachers and students. The site offers images that are royalty-free without copyright issues. Many images of different objects can be located here.

Follett Online Cataglo

The Follett online catalog is a way to search for materials in the Honey Creek library media center and in the Vigo County School Corporation. It also offers weblinks to a variety of research articles.

Dress Code Guidelines and Cell Phone Rules
The Vigo County School Corporation’s mission is to equip students with lifelong learning skills and prepare them to become productive and responsible citizens. Toward that end, the School Corporation desires to use progressive discipline of students in an effort to avoid interruption or disruption within educational program and activities while also pursuing restorative goals that seek to avoid exclusionary punishment, if possible. Appropriate dress in a secondary school has an effect upon the attitude of a student toward school and his/her schoolwork. Let us always dress in a fashion that will  reflect the pride we feel in our school. It is a responsibility of each student to be aware of the dress code guidelines and dress accordingly.

Enrollment

To enroll a student who is new to the Vigo County School Corporation or to re-enroll a student who left VCSC for the 2020-21 school year or an earlier year, please visit this site.

HCMS Booster Club

The Honey Creek Booster Club is an organization of parents who support the school in various ways. Meeting once a month, the group plans fundraisers, mixers, and special events. They provide the outdoor concession for the Fall and Spring sports.

My School Apps

Students who qualify for free and reduced lunch do not pay textbook rental fees, and only have to pay the consumable fee. Families can apply for free/reduced lunch status by visiting www.myschoolapps.com.
